Ok, so for those of you that are interested. My Corolla came stock with a 4age engine that weighed (including transmission) : 382 lbs. It had 115 hp and 98 ft*lbs of torque.

I upgraded to the 4agze engine which weighed an equivalent of 462 lbs and produced (with light mods) 180 hp and about 160 ft*lbs of torque.

With the 1mzfe the equivalent engine will weigh 522 lbs and produce 190 hp and 210 ft*lbs of torque.

So is it worth a weight gain of 140 lbs to get an extra 75 hp and 112 ft*lbs of torque (over stock)?

Is it worth a weight gain of 60 lbs to get an extra 10 hp and 50 ft*lbs of torque (over the supercharged engine)?

Well considering that 140 lbs is less than the average passenger, I'd say yes!

Actually my car will gain only about 46 lbs over it's most recent weight because I was able to remove an aftermarket intercooler and its associated plumbing with the swap. Plus I think I can do a little more lightening at the front of the car, to help with the any added weight.

My plan now is starting to look like the supercharger will also be added. I'm sure this weighs more than the intake manifold it replaces, but again, more hp and torque.

Here is a pic of my soon to be 1mzfe powered Corolla or is it a Colara, Sorolla maybe?

Sorolla sounds good to me. :D

I would like to get the front fender liners from you and the washer fluid tank if you are interested in selling them. Also only interested if they are all in one piece not horribly damaged.

Please send me a PM if you think we can work out a deal.

Thanks!
Trust me, I'm a technician.

I don't mind getting rid of the fender liners at all. The passenger side one has one of the holes ripped where the clips go on by the door, but I think only one clip hole is ripped. I think it will still hold fine.

The water bottle in my Corolla is broken and I might use the one from the Solara, it is in good shape. I will probably keep it.

Sleeper: I PM'd you about the brackets.
99Black: $20.00 for both liners plus shipping. A little warning, the shipping may be a bit high. They are kind of big. I think I can wrap them into a circle but as you know the liners encompass the whole wheel well and then wrap down across the front of the car a little bit, so the box may be big. At least they are not heavy though. Let me know if that's ok.
