Congrats again!

I put some double sided tape at the corners to prevent it from lifting up. I didn't put weather stripping pads in though... how do those work?
The only reason I asked this was because swapped out my gen 2 spoiler for the gen 2.5 sport spoiler as well.
You did right with the double sided tape on the side edging. The weather strip would be installed the entire length of the spoiler (basically in between the double side tape) Also on the bottom length of the spoiler where it meets up with toyota emblem. The body shop used double sided tape the entire spoiler at my request.
The other thing was the holes that you drilled (EXCELLENT JOB!!!) to install the spoiler, there's supposed to be sealed rings around the holes to prevent water from entering the trunk. I wouldn't have know if I didn't have pre-existing holes there.
Sorry I would have posted this up, but you did your spoiler project a lil before I did mine. Mine was used and in a rough condition, although is was a similar color, but not a match, so it needed refinishing and sanding with two fresh coats of paint (only because the first coat wasn't done right, the body shop did a better paint job the second time around), all in all, I got what I wanted. I'll try and post pics up later this weekend.
Again, an excellent job well done! Props!!!
