If you can actually see your timing belt/chain with the hood up, the A/C bogging your engine down is the very least of your problems. That's your fan belt(s).

It's amazing, all these automotive advancements in luxury and hybrids and turning on the A/C still drains engine power. Seen this from Lexus LS600h's to Porsche Cayennes.

Ha sorry i had a brain farttt..Ha..Idk what i was thinking..its a chain..anyways..So what would i need to do first before getting those pillar gauges put in?And i guess people talk 4.4 psi and stuff.What does that mean supercharger?

Well, there are no superchargers meant specifically for the Solara, but the Scion tC's unit MAY fit. We are pretty much custom all the way, unless you purchase a turbo kit on sale which was ALREAD MADE TO FIT THE 2AZ-FE Solara.

What you are seeing is probably the serpintine belt. It drives your accesorings such as: water pump, power steering pump, alternator etc. The timing chain is under a plastic cover
