WHere can I get the supercharger seal, my mechanic states its leaking , where can I get the oil too . Thanks for the answers

seal you can use loctite 515 as ed from pse told me, oil just go to GM (general motors) and get standard supercharger oil. hope that helps. i dont even have my charger installed yet!!!

You can use an anaerobic gasket sealant, or a paper gasket cut to size. I've used both and IMO, save yourself the hassle and just do a paper gasket. Both can be found at most auto parts stores.

Yeah, you can do it for cheaper but I liked how everything comes with the kit - even the coupler which I needed but didn't know until I opened it up. It also includes some anaerobic gasket sealant which works great. Haven't had any problems.

Did you get the ceramic bearings? That seems like a nice upgrade. Provides longer life too!

^^ Nice! I wish I had replaced the bearings before I had mine installed. I think mine are starting to rattle. Anyone know if the bearings need to be replaced once they start making noise, or can it wait?

Although I do not have a supercharger, I was never comfortable with any bearings making noise.

bearings making noise means that either something's in them or they're running dry, neither of which is a good thing.

about the supercharger seal, i'm in no terms an expert of mechanics, but do you think you could use RTV silicone gasket maker to make a tight seal?

Changing out the bearings is extremely hard. I contemplated doing it myself until I did a bit of research. Trust me, have the rebuild done at a shop with the proper tools.

Yes, i used the ceramic bearings.

After i opened the s/c i looks in great shape...with the original oil in it.....not bad at all

I running now for a couple of days with the refurbished s/c and in the beginning is was drive like crap, but now it drives perfect.
So it need time to settle.

i used the one at the left to pull the normal bearings:

and for the small ones in the back you need an other tool.
These one you must slam them with a hammer and screwdriver further in (not more then a inch ). put some oil on it and pull them back with the pulley tool.
