Does the 07 camry and the gen 2 solara share the same exhaust? I have no idea but I did find this.

on the v6, it's a different engine. The v6 camry has twin pipes aswell while the solara is a a single pipe. Can't speak for the i4 engine though.

The exhaust is different. To answer your next question, no you can not install Camry the dual on the Solara.

I posted pics on here a long time ago. I had the V6 Camry system and the Solara system laid out side by side. You might have to search for it.

Michael's Arctic Frost is running a custom dual and custom lip. (Modified Camry lip.) You will have to ask a muffler shop to bend it for you. Of course it's a baller mod. There are no gains with it but it's hella cool.

Yes. Neither the 4cyl or V6 dual will fit the Gen2 4cyl.

My bad ... it's been a couple years and I'm a Nissan guy now. The study I did was on the Avalon, not the 07+ Camry.

http://solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=16336&highlight=dual+exhaust+project

However, I do know that the Camry routing is a little different. Honestly, I don't think it's worth buying the parts from Toyota vs having a muffler shop fab up a stainless steel set. The concern on the driver's side is still the same. Not much clearance with the spare tire well vs where you need the exhaust to come out.

Mike T got around this with a new lip. He moved his tips outward to match the Camry SE lip. (Which was heavily modified by the body shop) Moving the tip outward gives the driver's side muffler the clearance needed against the tire well.

Got ya I just thought it might be nice if the gen 2 guys could use the premade megan exhaust.

The Midpipe is the only benefit. Personally, I like the TRD muffler design better as it's a straight shot throough the center of the muffler body. This one is either a reverse flow or the innerpipe is too close to the body of the muffler. (Not using the full effect of the muffler's volume.)

The midpipe would be easy for a muffler shop to fab. I recommend staying 2.25 or less. 2.5 unless boosted with shave off low end power.
