Used JIC Coilovers
I am going to sell my current set of JIC coilovers to replace them with a brand new set. Basically the story is like this:
I purchased a set used on ebay for an incredible price- they had about 5k miles on them at the time. I have since put about 10k miles on the set, so around 15k miles total give or take. I hit a massive pothole about 2 months ago and the left front began to klunk, so I bought a set of coilovers from happy_aggies that had a blown right front and swapped his good front coilover in for mine.
This leaves me with the set on the car and the set that has 2 blown fronts in the garage. I am going to trade the blown ones in for a new set and sell these to cover some of the cost of the said trade in (which is $1100)
THE FACTS:
Okay, these are 5 way dampening adjustable with front pillowball mounts. Everything is there to be bolted on and replace your stock suspension. The setup has about 15k miles on it- however, I am not sure of the mileage of the left front, since it came off of happy_aggies' car.
I will say that there is some play in the front damper screws- they still work and can be adjusted, but they have developed some play. Because these are used and I dont know for sure the lifespan of the coils, I am going to start my asking price at $725 shipped.
To the best of my knowledge these are structurally sound and properly functioning coilovers- the ride is stiff and they can drop the car as low as you would ever want to go. I do just want to put out there that coilovers require servicing including damper changes from time to time and I just want to be honest with the buyer and let them know that these have some use on them. I am no selling because there is something wrong with these, I just have an opportunity to get a new set at a discount and clean the garage at the same time, so Im taking it while things are good financially for me (before school starts back up)
So again, $725 shipped OBO with the adjustment tools included. I will have pics up tonight or tomorrow- feel free to ask me any questions, thanks guys!
