I've read this post a million times, lol. I too hope to convert to this set up someday.

I'm running with a walbro 255l/hr. I'm sticking with 4psi at the moment and hope to increase it to 6/7 psi when I go for forged internals, headwork, bigger injectors and a standalone.

nice.

although, u can do 6psi on the stock internals...7psi is pushing it.

with a built motor like ur saying, well not totally built but beefed up...u can do 8psi....

the stock injectors are good till 5.5psi, even then on the higher rpm's it leans out, this can be solved with the supra injectors (330cc).

anyway, GL! post more pics when u get time.

Eye8Pussies is running 7PSI, and the engine internals is stock. And the engine has 300,000 KM on it. He put dow 250hp at the last dyno, but maxed out injectors. He now has Supra injectors and likely putting down 275whp.

*Edit, also what Dawgz said above.

That's very tempting, it's always been a bit of a grey area on how much these engines can take in stock form.. i have a chance of a 5 psi pulley. Will the stock injectors and ecu be able to cope with this? I also have some supra 440 cc injectors to go in but thats on the engine re build.

We have a couple of interesting projects on going, I will post up when we have any developments.

The stock injectors will be able to take the beating but up top ull be running a tad bit lean like i am just now...nothing crazy though.

And, no 5.5 shouldnt be driven hard if u havnt tuned it with a safcII or something along those lines. Do u have a SAFCII?

No mate, stock ecu. I'm looking at a full standalone. Would 440cc injectors be overkill with a standalone and 6psi?

i think the 330 supra injectors are polenty for even 7 psi, 440 might be overkill IMO, but I cant say 100% since I dont have experience with injectors that large or that much boost.

That was 250whp on maxed out stock injectors. We swapping in the Solara 330 (I think it was) injectors, and I'd think he;s now putting down around 270+/- a little at the wheels.

440cc is over kill for 6psi. but then u plan to go higher, u might one day do 8psi, who knows.

but for 6 or 7 psi....the supra 330cc injectors will do just fine...even at 8psi.

Mine are.

This is from another post, but these 3 supra injectors will fit:
23209-46031 Red Top
23250-46030 Red Top
23250-46050 Blue Top

Also, this might help!
