Just got some free Gen 2.5 parts....have some ??'s
Ok, so as I like some of the new changes in the 2.5 model. I told my cousin who manages a junkyard to be on the look out for a 2.5 that comes in. So he told me he had a 2.5 that came in with a destroyed front end (ouch!) and it was coming in today. Since he told me the car is just gonna be scrap metal anyways, I can pick the parts I want.
So i go my ass up grab my tools and went to the junkyard. When I got there, the car was even more messed up then my cousin described. It looked as iff someone almost t-boned it but missed the side and the car spun and hit another object on the side. The interior was nearly f'd up. Still I managed to pick up a few parts that I thought might useful. I got a set of LED tailights, 2007 trunk lip, 2007 steering wheel (yes the airbag was deployed), 2007 gauges, and the entire center counsel.
Took me a good 5 hrs to grab all the parts due to the car damage but still worth it. Now I know that I can swap in the LED tailights and the trunk lip but I was wondering is there any way I can swap in the gauges and the steering wheel as well (after I have the airbag restuffed)?
Hope you guys can help. The faster I know the faster I can start tearing apart my car for projects.
