Just got some free Gen 2.5 parts....have some ??'s

Ok, so as I like some of the new changes in the 2.5 model. I told my cousin who manages a junkyard to be on the look out for a 2.5 that comes in. So he told me he had a 2.5 that came in with a destroyed front end (ouch!) and it was coming in today. Since he told me the car is just gonna be scrap metal anyways, I can pick the parts I want.

So i go my ass up grab my tools and went to the junkyard. When I got there, the car was even more messed up then my cousin described. It looked as iff someone almost t-boned it but missed the side and the car spun and hit another object on the side. The interior was nearly f'd up. Still I managed to pick up a few parts that I thought might useful. I got a set of LED tailights, 2007 trunk lip, 2007 steering wheel (yes the airbag was deployed), 2007 gauges, and the entire center counsel.

Took me a good 5 hrs to grab all the parts due to the car damage but still worth it. Now I know that I can swap in the LED tailights and the trunk lip but I was wondering is there any way I can swap in the gauges and the steering wheel as well (after I have the airbag restuffed)?

Hope you guys can help. The faster I know the faster I can start tearing apart my car for projects.

Sorry man, I need the tailights for myself. All the parts I grabbed were parts that I'm interested in.

Did you manage to save the center console - what controls/HU is in it?

How about a rear spoiler? Was it an SE or SLE?

The oen thing i don't understand, not anywhere in the original post was there anythign that said there were spair parts for sale or taking requests for parts. This was a simple cry for help as to how to do a guage cluster swap and stearing wheel swap. To answer that question, i really don't know. If there isn't any difference to the cluster (indicator lights or anything) then i might be a simple plug and play, however i doubt it's that simple. As for the stearingwheel, it probably just uses the old factory hardware so it should be a direct swap. Good luck to you and I hope your able to do it, cause i like teh way both of those pieces look.

Like my thread originally stated, the parts i took are the parts im interested in keeping for myself. Nowhere in this thread did I say anythin was for sale or giveaways.

I was just simply asking for help as to whether the parts can be swaped or not. Apparently, SMAN was the only one who even directed my main point of this thread.

If anyone can help me with some of my questions, then please by all means. I'd be grateful for it.

To answer some of the questions, yes all the parts are from a 2007 SE Sport. I did manage to get the entire counsel including the radio, climate, etc. or at least whats good of it. The rest of the parts i stated is from an 07. Thats why im not sure if the parts are swapable.

Other then that, THIS THREAD IS NOT A FOR SALE OR GIVEAWAY THREAD.

All I understood was "manages", "cousin", "Junkyard", "gen2.5".

Oh well, I am guessing you don't like to make extra cash?
