A question regarding caliper painting
I know caliper painting has been discussed already, but I have a question that I believe hasn't really been discussed in detail and I want to make sure I do this correctly.
I bought jack stands and necessary equipment and materials, but I'm wondering if I need to remove the calipers when painting, or can I just tape over what needs to be taped and paint with the calipers attached?
Excuse my ignorance on the subject, I've just never painted a set before, and I don't know much about the calipers and how they are removed and reattached. I don't want to do anything stupid when I do it this weekend. If I should remove them, is this difficult? Also, if it's easy to describe would anyone mind explaining how.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jack
