Do we really have 225hp stock ??
Hi guys,
when Toyota drop from 225hp to 210 HP for the 3.3L V6 for the Camry I was sure they would do the same for the Solara but they didn't. Why is so different, or what restrictive part they putted on the Camry SE V6 to lose 15 hp ? If I use dyno chart from CP-E for other cars I can see that the wheel hp are in a ratio of 0.8 form the engine hp.
Mazda 6 220hp gives 175 whp (0.795 * engine hp) http://www.cp-e.com/2018.html?id=GqQfSFHS
Nissan Altima 245 hp gives 200 whp a (0.816 ratio) http://www.cp-e.com/2003.html?id=GqQfSFHS
Now our 3.3L V6 225hp supposed to gives around 180 whp (stock) instead it gives 170 whp on the graph for the stock again....170 whp....ok if I calculate 210 engine hp with the 0.8 wheel lost ratio its gives...nooo 170 whp !! http://www.cp-e.com/2018.html?id=GqQfSFHS
Conclusion, I almost sure that our engine are 210 hp as the Camry 3.3L...what do you think guys ??
