CP-e power evidence.
I took the car to the track Sunday and made stock runs and 2 runs with the intake. There is a definite improvement. Here's the improvement at the various distances using the two best runs. Distances are in feet. time is seconds improved by the MAFci. There was no difference between runs except the pipe.
Here are the best two time slips. I thought I had a better stock but I was reading the wrong column. Sorry for the scans but they had a crap ribbon in the machine all day so they are very faint. I'm car #747.
I don't know much about quartermile times but the guys at the track seemed to think that 10WHP was a reasonable claim give the improvement. And I saw the type of cars doing 15.5sec runs and no longer expect a huge number.
Last note, I noticed it was trying to shift a little earlier (5800) in stock setup. With the pipe it will go to the governor. That's the torque boost in action. Any major track hounds please post your impressions.
