I didn't put all the details like all of the ARP bolts used and special valve guides and knock sensors and may little details. The list was long enough. How about specs on your car? Sounds like you got a nice project going yourself.-JoeB
I would highly recommend getting your rods/pistons/block cryotreated. It's worth every penny in the reliability you will get from your motor.
Mine is going to be a built turbo 5SFE... CP pistons 8.5:1 CR, Pauter rods, machined and sleeved, ported/polished/machined head, Ferrea valves, HKS headgasket, balanced/blue printed, etc etc. For now Im sticking with my stock 5 speed, but in another month or two after this is done Ill be swapping in an E153 tranny with Kaaz LSD and V6 axles/hubs. Then Ill be able to get my power down to the ground. My goal is to be able to lay down 250+whp all day long with all the reliability of a daily driver, and then be able to dial up the boost whenever I want for a little extra fun...
Later on down the line (like end of the year, beginning of next) Im thinking of doing a turbo upgrade to the Blitz KKK turbo kit... Id be running 25+ psi all day long and making huge power with that.
