I was wondering if anyone has heard about these "electric superchargers" and has anyone confirmed that these things actually boost n work on your engine??

Awesome. Get five of them and stack 'em inline. Woo-hoo man!

Get five more and turn them the other direction then mount them to your exhaust thus giving you negative backpressure.

(I should get commission on these.)

Well - since our Search is currently fugged-up, you can't blame 'em for that! ;)

One of the guys on V6P tried one of those E-Ram electric superchargers...here's a post from him:

It was my experience that the e-ram setup on my 6mt accord produced no appreciable gains. My opinion is that the ECM did not compensate with additional fuel resulting in excessively high EGT which caused several burnt exhaust valves. I would think the same thing would happen with the CT blower if arrangement for supplemental fuel was not made.

I plan on doing further development on the e duct I made. I’ll probably do something similar to a wet NO2 setup. Instead of gas the system will trigger the fans, along with supplemental fuel at wide open throttle situations.

I avoid talking about this in the forum because, just like in real life approximately 90% of those involved in the discussion will bring negativity. Crabs in a boiling pot of water, ya know.

So depending on where you get these things...you might find one that will create some positive pressure. But it's all about management when it comes down to it I suppose...

Here's a few pics I snapped at their booth at Nopi a while back:

E-Ram is very different and much more expensive. When I saw one at a demo it would actually fly under its own power.

Hey PXL, we get enough of these questions where I think you (or another mod) should clean up this thread and sticky it with the original question and the posted link by Midias...

^^ Good idea, but with the performance of the SG server lately (slow or just DEAD) it would take me a week to do that!

Sorry - venting... grrr...
