No supercharger for the 3MZ but somebody might have put up a scion tC supercharger on the 2AZ Solara. If they find a 3MZ supercharger, do let us know!

Either way, I take it you own a V6...dyno numbers seems too high for the 2AZ, but a bit low for a V6? Is that a Mustang dyno thing?

max power=166
max torque-168

thats about right for a 3mz-fe w/auto transmission and a cpe. You could adapt the TRD supercharger to work on your motor. Here is a video milt posted on youtube of his supercharged 3mz-fe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SMw6lsCZcs It should bolt right up, but the intake chambers on the 3mz block are bigger, AND its a bigger motor, SO you might not get the same performance you might get if it were on 1mz-fe.

Isn't more than 20% power dip (with mods) too much for the 3MZ auto?

BTW, there is a turbo-like boost on the dyno graph @ 3300rpm. What is that?

Gnergroni, that turbo like boost you see is what then engine is outputting, there no turbo here, jusst cpe and a cpe tuneable box

And about the supercharger, I will look into it and see what I find, so ilovemylara, the 1mz supercharger will fit on a 3mz

Crower makes some good stuff. I have had a lot of luck with Colt Cams custom regrind. They are very popular with the V4 crowd. I used them for my Accord and I loved the difference they made.

Get 1mz heads and then a SC should be fairly easy to bolt up.

This surprises me. I would have thought to have seen some higher numbers. But I do feel better now with the jpp set up making 186hp and 192 tq untuned. Damn, I need to get tuned...

Are you planning on jpp in the near future?

If that holds true, then that auto transmission zaps power like the Silver Surfer in F4 II.

^ yes i am, i wouldnt be discouraged man, this was done a mustang dyno and i believe you lose like 10% or 14% to wheels, on a dyno jet i would probably be at 196whp and 198tq

and with the jpp headers and y-pipe my numbers should also improve, now i just need the money to get them, does anyone have the link to this item still, oh wait, there is a thread for it, nevermind

but yeah, the mustang dyno is a heart breaker, but now i gotta keep using it to accurately track my gains

Can't find any info on the TTE compressor, but its likely to be another M62 unit. Same basic supercharger as the TRD for the 1MZ but different placement.
