Deciding between some new wheels, input?

I'm looking at some bigger rims this time. The 18"s I looked at eariler this week were weak when they were actually on my car, so I decided to go 19" or 20". Here are the wheels I'll be checking out next week:

Zyoxx ZX8 20" Chrome

Axis Hiro 19" Silver

I practically threw up when I saw all thoses options. They look dumb and only add weight  . IMHO rims always looked better just as spokes, not big huge massive 2X4's coming from the center.

What happened to the wheels you had already scored?

(Are you competing with Whoa_It's_J3ff for the most wheel threads started and never finished? ) Any pics of what the wheels looked like?

About the other wheels. I did mount them, but I gave them back to the seller. That's why I'm checking out these ones now, and thanks for your input so far! Sorry about all the threads, I'm just making sure I get some good wheels for my car :P

Woah_it's_j3ff, I'm catching up! ;)

And here's what the other wheels looked like (looked gross mounted, didn't want to defile my car with a picture)

Unfortunately, it's hard to say what will look good until you see them ON the car. :(

^^ What he said...

Not only that, but you'll get about 73 different responses as to just what "GOOD" looks like here!

Why is it so important to get everyone else' opinion on something YOU think may look good anyway? Not blasting you for it - I did the same thing awhile back too - then I realized that just going with what I wanted is all that mattered and screw what anybody else thought! ;)

So... whatever smokes your shorts bro - go for it as long as you're happy!

I think I like these ...

18's would have been just fine on your 4cyl. It really requires the right setup for 20's to look right. Remember, when you're considering these wheels, you have to take into account more expensive tires and the increased likelyhood of theft. How are the roads out there? I assume good since you don't have winters like the rust belt. 20s will damage more easily with lower profile tires. Additionally, the ride will be more harsh. You will hear a lot more road noise and feel rocks and cracks that you drive over. Curb rash with lower profile tires is common so extra care is required when pulling next to a curb.

I'm not saying this to burst your bubble, but just trying to make sure you've thought things completely through. These are reasons why I ended up staying with 18's on my Gen2.

I would not worry about extra weight if you are getting 19's or 20's they have allready added enought weight to kill your 1/4 times by at least a 1/2 sec
