Gen 2 Exhaust... "Zoomer's Exhaust"

Postby lemmez » Fri Jan 05, 2007 10:38 pm

I just got my custom catback installed by zoomer's exhaust. Man does it sound good. Not ricey IMHO. Neways check it out and tell me what you guys think. If anyone is interested i have a group buy set up with the shop. Its located in irvine, ca. If we get enough ppl down there they'll start manufacturing a 1 piece and all you out of staters can order it online. For all details and specs of the exhaust go to www.zoomersexhaust.com. You can check out all the dynos (unfortunantly my car did not get dynoed yet :( )

Here's some pictures of them installing the exhaust.

Top link just needs the "." taken off of it and it works... ;)

I like the video - especially the burnout - LOL!!

Gotta say that's really low and mellow for a 4-banger! I'm impressed! :o

Update

Postby lemmez » Sat Jan 06, 2007 3:58 am

Here's a link to the site with the dynos and specs.

http://www.zoomersexhaust.com/

the piping im using is 2.25 and the muffler is the silver bullet. If anyone wants to see more vids let me know..

btw i thought i was a catback if they changed all the piping till from the catalayc converter back ? correct me if im wrong.

These vids really don't do justice on the street it sounds mean yet real quiet at the same time untill i open full throttle and all hell breaks loose :drinking:

I dunno - I don't think its as ugly as seeing a big fart can sticking out the back, dontchathink? It's actually a lot smaller (the muffler body) than the TRD is... that's kinda nice.

I'd be interested to hear it on a V6 actually! ;)

the tip is good but I hate the can. It sounds good but not as good as the TRD but then again borla makes almost anything sound good.

i like it and i hate it at the same time...
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

I'd like to hear the TRD on a 4cyl too if anyone can post it. I've been thinking about getting one, but I don't need to end up with a Solara that sounds like a WWII fighter plane!

Wow, that's the best sounding muffler I've heard on any Solara. Props for origionality and sweet looks (great sound, too!).

orlin03 - I have a vid of my Solara with a DNX muffler. IMHO it's better than a TRD and a LOT cheaper, PM me if you want a link. :)
