Oh my gosh, this is awesome! It's fixed and done, HALELUJIA! What I did was cut out the o2 sim and instead put on a mechanical one (thanks for that tut!).

Short but sweet: Get rid of the CEL light by making a mechanical simulator. $5 or less and IT WORKS! Amazing, it's like a gift from heaven on my doorstep! Many thanks and sorrows for hours lost in research + trial and error.
