Postby yaddadaimsayin » Wed Jan 28, 2009 8:30 pm

I'd say 60w is safe, but don't go higher.

The stock wiring is fine for 100w easy. However, the additional heat put off by higher wattage bulbs can cause damage to the housing.

bulbs are pretty hard to find unless you go to crazy priced stuff, even kragen doesnt have many in stock. if anything get some HIDs you wont regret it.

I would go w/ the purple look. The purple and black look on a black car is nice!

although purple looks cool, you wont see anything plus, you attract a lot of unwanted attention from cops or whatnot.

I would go blue or white ( what Im running)

Usually you don't want to go over 6000k purple you might as well not even have lights.

I would say 6000K (Diamond White) as well. Maybe 8000K (Blue Hue) if you want a little more blue. The purple color is just that, color. They dont put out hardly any light at all. If you absolutley have to have the purple color go with 6000K headlights and do the purple HIDs in yor fogs (15,000K I think).

go with either 5000 to 6000k anything over that you wont see anything like stated above, dont waste the money on purple unless you want to pay repair tickets
