as most of you know bbq bob, and me take our cars to the race track, and those who say there not good cars for the track, well there not the best, but by far not the worst, heres a list of upgrades you can do to make your car track fast,, whiteline 20-24 mil front sway bar, the bigger the better, some might say you'll end up with to much under steer, bologna, our cars are front wheel drive so you need the front end flat and level, trd or whitline rsb, set to track position, there are many camber kits out there, Eibach Pro-Alignment Camber Kits for the Camry,
HR Triple C - Front Camber Kits for the Camry, whitline, just to name a few, ive found 1 degree negative in front, and 3/4 degrees in the rear, works great, tire temps where even across tire surface, a good set of tires will make the this package complete, i use
Toyo Proxes R888's, falken makes a good tire the 615's, about $170 per tire, also you want to use a short side wall tire, as i use 225/45/17, tire roll is an issue with a heavy car, if you do these things you'll have a car that turns on a dime, and give you change back, if you want to see how this setup works, go to pics and vids, i posted vid links of my car at willow springs big track................... :drinking:

Frank, I can vouch for the 4-point's effectiveness. TRDSleeper is the only guy I know who has the rear 2 pc. brace.

i remember when i still used to track my Camry, good times!

Also a set of good coilovers wont hurt. I personally have gone through the JIC FLT-A1's and a custom set of A2RS

disclaimer: street racing is unsafe. that said, frank what the hell did you get me into.i read some racing posts and there seams to be a double standand here. randy was unsafe racing on the freeway and yet on the racing topic it's "nice kill" all the time. having raced about 7 times on the street since i got the camry from ya i guess i'm unsafe too. ha ha. 5 kills and the 2 losses to you. the black lara is fast. are these guys teenage girls or what.i'll pm when i learn that feature next time.

jetbtkng, thanks for the alignment info. Whenever the hell I get my bushings installed I'm getting the Camry realigned. No sure I'll go with a bigger front sway bar just because occasionally I do autocross the camry if the eight six is down and I find it understeers enough as is. However, for road course stuff, having the car tighter up front might not necessarily a bad thing
