Intake & Exhaust... Suggestions plz!?

Alright... so besides sound, and headlights and taillights, the only mod i wanna do engine wise is intake and exhaust. I am looking for short ram intake... any suggestions? definitely NOT interested in cold air intake as i live in oregon and water will get in quick and mess things up. As for exhaust, im not looking for anything LOUD. I want that nice aftermarket hum to it... something 2.5" would be great. Suggestions here would be great too.. thanks for all your input! post reply or PM me with all your feedback.

Right here man this question is posted at least once a week. You should also probably list your engine size or you could just let people guess.

Basically check the stickies but the short version is CPE is the best power gain, injen and weapon R are about the same, a K&N filter is nothing and the ebay 3 inch intake is worse than stock.

Exhaust wise Megan, OBX, JPP and JIC are the main producers. Megan makes 2 one is a crooked standard fart cannon fast and the furious style. The other is a dual tip oval muffler. Both are fairly quiet 2.5 inch dual resonated. The OBX is a clone of the JPP only using stainless and is 3 inch not good for NA applications. Finally JIC is a standard straight fart cannon but it is very expensive, if you want one I would probably just get the muffler and have a custom catback made to match for half of the cost. Custom is a common choice and works well and is very easy to make. Using the crazy ass search function the tutorial is easy to find.
