hey i did the manual swap and i forgot that after the swap my reverse light arent working? is there anyway to wire it up to work?? im running the auto ecu still. funny idle because it thinks its always in neutral. is that why my reverse lights dont work??

on the manual tranny there should be a reverse sensor... it will have two wires coming out of it, and one is a ground, and the other is a power if I remember.. and it has to be spliced into the old auto connecter... ill see if I can't get a pic or 2

what did you do to trick the ecu so you don't get shift selonoid errors and reverse switch codes?

I've got a few tips if you want them...

I think it about a grand to 2 grand to get it done.

Too many modifcations for the signature.

Don't forget a likely drop in your car's resale value as well. Important when you're adding up what the project will <i>really</i> cost.

Unless you plan to drive it until it's only suitable for a scrapyard, it'll have an affect.

yeah thats what I used... but keep in mind he has a camry... I ended up having to checking the wiring diagrams in my chiltons
