These dont work on port injected vehicles. they had their glory days when TBI was running around and they always worked on carburetors...but im afraid you all are wasting dough on an extra inch or so of plenum volume that doesnt matter because the engine, especially in N/A form, was designed to benifit from ram tuning(hence the ACIS system) It may make the manifold resonate at a different RPM, but whats that gonna do? Im sure the factory had it as perfect as it could be as far as VE%

I tried putting it on today, but the bottom bolts that connect into the supercharger, well i dont know how to get them off. They have bolts in them and are much too short. Anyone else have this problem?

you have to back out the studs on the bottom just get a channel lock wrench and twist. Read some of my earlier posts about screw length

I have one and I'm S/C. . . From what I noticed is off a roll when I punch it. . . seems to get a better kick. . . So in other words is like what you felt better mid range power

Uh... does anyone know if this will fit the Gen 2 3.3V6? I'm assuming it may since it's marketed for the 3.4 V6 - right?

So everyone that's ordered one and installed it already (non S/C that is) - do you feel a noticeable difference? Anyone Dyno after install yet?

cannot say for sure if it will fit, but read back a bit I got mine running as the first NA (as far as I know) and I (and StockSolara) felt a midrange gane. It seems more punchy off the line and the dip in power when the acis changes over is not as noticeable.

On another note a friend was just in the car with me who rides in the Solara A LOT and he said it throws him in the seat more.

Agreed, people running carbs or throttle body injection may benefit. Anyone remember this piece of crap?

so with all the purchases, is everyone satisfied with the spacer. i unserstand that its not supposed to work but does it have a gain. like mentioned before, this would be a nice little mod.

TB spacers seem to be very application dependant some cars yes some NO it is all in how well the manifold was designed. YES all company's have good and bad designs.
