Dat,
Your signature boasts of having 300hp. The before and after of this mod only shows 233 and 242. Did you remove the supercharger or something?

No I put 260Whp. I lost that dyno sheet when my computer wiped out and crash. I would put my whp on but I dont know my whp on the accord.. So that would be annoying to me to have whp on one and hp on the other. It pisses me off. Why you dont like it or what?

So yeah.

Gaskets / Hardware

Postby ndeguzma » Mon Nov 20, 2006 10:41 am

Hello,

I'm Number 10. on the list. Just getting ready for the install. Anybody, have gasket part numbers to relay on to the Toyota parts guy? Are the manifold / midpipe gaskets the same? Anybody know the thread size to find nut / bolt replacements? I am of the mindset that all of this needs to get replaced.

I don't know about you, but the most frustrating part of wrenching on cars is chasing parts, especially when you have everything apart. :x

Thanks

i believe that the stock gaskets should fit on the header-to-ypipe section as the stock headers would still have an indentation to hold that circle gasket. If you feel you need more sealing, there are always those flat gaskets as people here including me have used on the greddy cat-back. Midpipe gasket should be using the flat gasket instead of toyotas circle gasket as now both flanges are flat w/no indentation for the stock gasket to fit in. hope that helps any.

oops almost for got about the nut/bolt section. I just used the stock nuts/bolts from my stock cat-back and bought heat treated replacements @ home depot. I suggest you get extra long stugs/bolts and use 2 nuts instead of one so that the second acts as a lock-nut just in case.

They work but I am not responsible on those. Ive seen some issue with them on a few of my friends cars. So I personally have not tried them.

They are design to restrict masive flow onto the sensors. My friends sometime still fail inspection because the sensor wernt getting the right signal without even throwing a check light.

so that thing... would be good for just getting rid of the CEL? not good for passing emissions test. But if I get the URD one... then it's good for getting rid of CEL AND passing emissions test? (Note: I love in CA, they do "sniffer" test here... i'm thinking even URD won't let me pass)

They both do the same thing. Its just Ive personally had better luck with the URD one over the bug. Thats with me using it on my car and installing the bug on friends cars who had cat removal.

Huh? :-? I remember my friend did mentioning to me something about modfying a spark plug... but it was only mentioning it, not into detail. So Midias, what are you talking about? "all that first one is is..." do you mean to say that is a negative thing? or what? anti fowler? english? dripp the bottom out to 1/2 inch? so... what should I do?
