diesel has different chemo-kinetic properties than regular gas. they also use a different type of spark plug than gasoline engines.
as for the gas engines, i'm sure those were designed for it, but my skepticism is regarding the 1mz and such a lean a/f ratio.
but if d-money's running it, it must be possible. just let us know if you notice any (premature) component failure.
