Almost everyone I know with a modded truck has one. It is all about the longer runners.

I understand how this would work with N/A engines but does this work with F/I?

spacer

Postby trd4life » Sat Jun 03, 2006 2:17 pm

The spacer will have no performance gains on a s/c vehicle. I did some research and found that none of the Spacer companies offer a spacer for a factory supercharged vehicle. They make a zillion spacers for fords, but not one company offers one for the s/c cobra or lightning. I rest my case this mod for supercharged guys is a waste of money and will do nothing in terms of power. Greg had a reason to get one he needed space for his intercooler lines.

Cool! Can't wait to hear or see results of your progress. I'm sure you'll be happy with the results.

I will post the results. May I ask which oil you chose to use?

oil

Postby trd4life » Sun Jun 04, 2006 8:38 am

Greg i suggest Redline synthetic, AMSOIL synthetic, or Royal Purple synthetic. All of those are REALLY good oils.
