I dont think he ment it like that, Dat will just end up having an extra pipe that came out of his deposit. The extra pipe he will have untill he finds a new buyer.

I gotta question for you guys. What is the length of the removable section? I just wanted to get an estimate so I can look for that length cat. Many thanks!

I was thinking about making that section the same size as a bolt on high flow cat is already available. If you guys can find me one let me know. I saw some mazda and probe bolt on cats that looked like they will work. I just need to find dimensions. A oem 92-94 catalytic converter will work.

This is the oem 92-94 catalytic converter, something like this will work perfect. If you use this then you can remove it at anytime and use the mid-pipe.

thats good to know. Anyone know if there are any random technology cats that are those same dimensions? I like the idea of the OEM cat for smog purposes, but might be a huge restriction because of the design/diameter difference compared to aftermarket cats.

ok ok, so i'm ready to send the money, but I need to be more clear about this $11 option. I'm not sure I need it or not. I'm just planning on running the y-pipe with no cat and then putting on the stock y-pipe with cat for smog inspection. Will I need the $11 part?

question #2, if I DO get the $11 option. does that mean i HAVE to get a cat? or it gives me the option of adding a cat? Does the option modify the actual y-pipe or it adds something on?

as soon as I get this cleared up and understand the picture more clearly, payment shall be sent.
