Greg (Paladin) had some custom profile camshafts he was getting rid of. I wonder who ended up buying them from him...

i was trying to buy them but they slipped from under me and i never found out who ended up with them....on thing i do remember him saying is that we really only needed exhaust cams the intake cams were fine. And that when he did get regrinds he got a big improvement. And he had a issue with the shop that designed them(who also happened to do the install) not with the cams themselves.

ANYWHO, in for cams you have a definite buyer here.

I called Greg about the cams 2 or 3 months ago. I was told that there was no interest and they went in the trash. (shame) I had offered him $250 shipped and I got an email back "Joe...come on." I guess he thought that was too low, oh well.
The issue that he had with them installed he could not pass smog. His goal was 300+hp and obd2 compliant.

Not sure if cam gears would yield any benefit given that we only have one cam gear for each head head. Not sure how you could accurately adjuting timing for both cams with just one sprocket

my thoughts exactly. one cam drives the other... in the opposite direction. there's no way to adjust them independently so this seems to me like not such a good idea.

...stupid narrow F heads... (and no, that's not a profane or "witty" remark. those who understand toyota's engine designation codes will get it)

Yes, you're right.
I believe someone here tried to do a GB for cams from them......But, alas GB's just don't work here. No one wants to pony up.
