TB bypass?

Ok, so I used to have an LT1 v8 car. We did a samll mod called a Throttle body bypass. Basicly you just bypass the coolent going throught the trottle body. It keeps the intake temps a bit lower, but not a huge difference. i was just wondering if this was possible with our throttle bodies? Is there a sensor that would through a cel? It does not get cold enough in florida to need it ( I think)

Anybody have any comments?
