Need a New Battery Brand

Need a New Battery Brand

I have been using an AutoCraft Titanium Battery from AAP for the past few years and have had to get it replaced twice in 3 years (for free of course). Looks like the battery can't handle the load from my vehicle. I have the carputer running in the back which doesn't draw more than about 70W max, and a 700W RMS amp for my sub and speakers (which I don't really drive too hard). But inevitably, this ends up ruining my battery after about a year and a a half. What are some other good battery options. I looked at the Optima Yellow Top, but it costs close to 200 and only comes with 12mo. replacement warranty. Are there any other brands? Also I considered a capacitor but I'm not driving any crazy subwoofer setup (my amp only provides 150W RMS to the sub), so I didn't think a cap would solve my problem. Are there any other problem areas I should be looking for?

I use Bosche

but...

With all that stuff u have, u should look into replacing ur ALTERNATOR with a Highlander one (or was it the sienna?) that should be able to hold what u have.

Have you considered running a Red Top combined with a Yellow Top in the trunk? I've seen that setup in both cars & trucks with huge sound systems.

pick up an optima- the red top would be a good choice. it's not made for audio, but it does come with a good warrantee (3 years) and it takes a fully draining pretty well.

Red Top is what I have now in my RX300, but eventually I plan to move on to one of these, www.brailleauto.com

I have a friend who installed one of these in his Z06 and these things are incredibly lightweight.
