I screwed up big time

I screwed up big time

So I was at sears on saturday and I baught some tires. They told me that one of my bolts is a key lock so they broke it off. I assumed they had enough sense to put another one on after charging me for it. Then my car started to squeak when I accelerated and yeah it turns out they did not replace it. I went to auto zone and got me the same stock nut i need (which by the way squeaks when it is completely screwed in). So I bought the crew and put it on my car but I did not know when it was going to squeak to let me know it was all the way in so after 20 seconds my new lug nut just popped out so i was like i must have not screwed it in or it was the wrong size, so I look in side and the screw was broken inside so now I have no Idea what to do.

If what you are saying is you have a broken stud it is an easy fix for any shop they just press in and out.

The 4 things sticking out are the studs. You put lug nuts on them.

They broke it, they should fix it. Unless you unknowingly consented to them doing so without having to reapair it

That's an easy fix. Either go back to the place that broke it and tell them to fix it or go somewhere else, it's a simple procedure that any place should be able to do.

Hell, if you know how to work a hammer, you can do it yourself. I managed to do one of mine in like 30 minutes.

Did they charge you the wheel lock removal fee, or the replace stud fee? They are different and separate charges. Your post makes no sense at all. Take a picture, or try to describe the problem better. You can safely drive a car with 4 studs, granted I wouldn’t do it if I had the option.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

Your first problem was going to Sears.. :drinking:
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

I broke the stud off inside of the lug nut. And sorry sears was the most affordable. And they did charge me the fee for removal of the key lug nut, not the replacement.

you can go back to sears and purchase another stud and let them put it on for you.
