the differences between the gen 1 and gen1.5 are the grille, headlights, corner lights, taillights, front bumper, fog lights, interior trim pieces were changed to a different color woodgrain, and the wheel center caps were slightly changed.

Besides what was mentioned, the Gen 1.5 has the following:
*Individual high and low beams
*An off switch for the daytime running lights (DRL).
*Heated seats option (only 2003)
*Power trunk

Yeah, I was wrong. The sunroofs are the same. I found out the hard way that my sunroof is not factory, its a dealer install. I also found out from Toyota of Waco that my Solara was bought brand new from Stearling McCall Toyota Dealership in Houston. I talked to them and they told me that they had it instaled at Texas Auto Trim in Houston. For some stupid a$$ reason they installed a 31" glass sunroof instead of a 35" glass factory sunroof. They want $600 to replace my sunroof :o . I think I can find an aftermarket sunroof and install it myself for way less than that.

Again, I was wrong about the sunroof being bigger. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

Anybody have a Aftermarket sunroof w/31" glass??? Let me know. :D
