You know, I did purchase my car due to the 5-speed also (see sig). Hell, it was way faster than my failed investment Taurus 3.0L slowcrappomatic.

^^ Yea the 09 Honda Accord 6mt 3.5 V6 is a lot of fun to drive and supposedly runs a 14.3 factory. I can tell you from personal experience it will break the tires loose in 3rd and will rape my solara without much effort. Of course they also make 239.5 hp and 224 lb-ft at the wheels about 80-90 more hp than a stock 5mt v6 solara. Or at least thats what the 08 made the 09 has a little more power but only about 5 hp.

Well, I sold my V8 Chevy truck due to mpg, so the fact that the 4 banger is the only way to get a 5 speed is okay with me. I am currently driving a 98 saturn SL, so ANYTHING is an upgrade! Hahaha

5-speed is the way to go! I selected the 4 banger for that very reason... (no v6 manual)

2004, the first year of the Gen 2 was when the 3.3L V6 came out. Only came with an auto.

So let me get this right. In 2004, when they started making the Gen 2, they only made 4 cylinder 5 speeds and V6 automatics.

They never made a V6 MT?
BUT they do make 4 banger AT?

Is this the same with the Gen 2.5?

Yes and yes. I guess only honda wanted to have a nice upscale coupe with a v6 and a 6mt.

haha sall good. I still love my 2004 V6. besides its got the "shifters" so I can still reminisce the old days. :)
