so i took off my wheels today and saw that a few studs on my rear hub had been cut off about half an inch. looked like 2 on each side. i am using spacers now so it isnt affecting my wheels. i will be getting new wheels and wont be using spacers. can i take my car to any repair shop and have new studs put in or is this something for the dealership to do? thanks guys.

yea repair shop should be able to do it.

i just got my 10 studs replaced with extended ones. They should chare u an hour job. cost me 70 bucks

Yea any shop can do it I personally did it my self in about 2 hrs. But I had a good press for the studs

A good shot with a big hammer will knock them out. You’ll need an impact to pull the studs through. Get a couple of extra lugs in case you bugger a few up pulling the studs through the hubs. Easy work for a DIY if you have the tools.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

Man, I replaced mine the ghetto way.

I flipped the rotor around and tightened the new stud with a lug until it pressed itself in :lol:
