^^^x2 lots depends on your driving style, and how late you wait until you start braking.
they should be able to be resurfaced so long as they aren't warped, and they haven't been turned already (a few times). the guys at o'reilly's (or where ever) should have a book that will tell them if the rotor is too far gone to resurface (they won't do it for safety/liability reasons). if the rotors are scored (from driving w/o brake pads....after they've been totally used up), then the chance that they can resurface goes down, but it's not totally out of the picture.
if you're wanting to get them resurfaced, then just take them in and see if they can still cut them, if they can, go for it, and if not, then get new rotors of your choosing. 7 bucks per rotor sure beats buying brand new ones if they aren't needed IMO.
