Not sure what this is a sign of, but it seems I've been getting rough shifts when going from 1st into 2nd, and vice versa. What happens is when the tranny shifts, it like pauses for a split second and then lunges into the next gear. It is extremely noticeable when sitting in stop-n-go traffic.

Should I get a tranny flush or drain? I have about 115k miles, and never gotten the tranny flushed before.

Have you checked the level of fluid or the condition (color , smell)?

Looks fine to me, but not sure what to look or smell for.

Should I get a tranny flush, or is it a bad idea at 115k miles since I've never done it before?

By looks fine is it still a nice bright red? Does it have a burned smell? Did you check it with the car warmed up running and in park?
