well when im coming to a stop at a light or stop sign, just before im about to fully stop my rpms will go up to around 1,000 and then dump back down to around id say 700- 650 and kinda chug, and then itll go back up to normal idle. I'm thinking it could be my spark plugs? Any one else have ant ideas

Plugs or plug wires definitely sound reasonable. If you don't find a problem there, I found mine in coil packs. Are you getting a check engine for a misfire?

Fuel filter or fuel pump are other possibilities.

Ya w/ no CEL yet that rules out o2 sensor and EGR valve. I was having a similar problem, and it wound up being the front bank o2 sensor and EGR valve especially at idle and lower rpms. However, it threw a CEL.

Check it out, and tell me how it goes.

I would clean the throttle plate and the entire throttlebody to get the idle air control.

a couple of questions, does it matter if i clean the whole throttle body with MAF cleaner, or use carb cleaner? can i use carb cleaner on the IAC also? and do i remove the IAC from the TB?

I would use throttlebody cleaner to clean the throttlebody and IAC. and no you do not have to remove the IAC but it would not hurt.

clean your TB and MAF (clean the maf with maf cleaner). Next, do a tune up (plugs, wires, fuel filter, seafoam) and then if that doesn't do it you might have a vacuum leak.

when I had that problem, ended up being my IAC valve. But would definitely go first with what's being recommended....clean the TB, etc.

I had the same problem, I just cleaned out the throttle body with some throttle body cleaner and reassembled, and voila! my car idles correctly and evenly. took me 5 minutes!
