I am trying to get better gas millage. My personal best so far is like 24mpg. I think some of you out there are getting more like high 20's I have done allot to try to increase my MPG but I still want to do more.
I was wondering if cleaning out the EGR would be helpful. any thoughts?

i cleaned my egr a few months ago...


Just blast it with carb cleaner.



oh and by the way...if ur not boosted, try seafoam thru ur brake booster (this is not for ur egr by the way).

I have cleaned many EGRs mostly to fix CELs but it cold nto hurt just spray the bolts with pb blaster ahead of time.

the top three came right off but I guess from what I was reading I have to get under the car and take off the other side of the tube? Does that sound right? You know of any shortcuts?
