Everytime i race or i rev too high there's this wierd smell that comes out the vents. Its like a dead animal or a realy nasty fart.

Will that lysol thingy work or is it something else?

Thanks

Haha so true. going that fast wont solve anything. redline RPM in 1st is the same as 4th, no need to go speedracer and take unnecessary risks.

FYI-that smell is common on older cars and as long as you pass smog fine then it'd keep it stock unless you absolutly need the performance. Its proven that stock cats are more restrictive but also does its job better with emissions because of the high platinum content vs. aftermarket ones.

Easiest fix if you want, O2 sim and swappable test pipe. I say go big or go home

Normal on older Toyota cats. Mine does it to. I just live with it, haha.

again on that platinum on OEM though. Seems like Toyotas around Norcal are getting hit bad. There've been many reports of cut off cats esp in the trucks/suv's since people sell them. The toyota dealer where my buddy works here in Sac offers free Vin number etching to try and prevent selling of stolen cats.

Yea I have heard of that esp with the toyota trucks because of the high platinum content and of course platinum being worth about $2000 an ounce.
