I was wondering for those of you who have replaced your knock sensor did you need to replace your manifold gaskets or are they the reusable metal kind?

when I pulled my s/c, my metal gasket was still in great shape...but, for peace of mind, I would replace it if I were you.

Nope, many times used again and again.
Anyway, it's right on top if you need to replace it.

The plenum gasket is two pieces sandwich together.
Part number 17176-62030 list price is $9.79 I paid $6.48 for mine.

best to replace it

mostly because the block's coolant lines go through the gasket...and the rubber usually sticks to the manifold or block when you take the gasket off

and lol...he's not asking about the plenum gasket, which can be reused....but the INTAKE MANIFOLD gasket...

if it's not replaced, then coolant leaks are almost a sure bet unless the gasket was just replaced
