Intake you could probably do yourself. Not many people can do a turbo themselves considering there are no bolt-on's for your platform. That you will have to get custom made unless you wait for the supercharger to come out. And why would you be modding your ecu?

Grazi is right. If there is one thing I have learned when modding my car, it is do as much as you can yourself. With a little handyman skill you will save money paying someone to do the work, you will probably do a better job since you care about how the mod turns out unlike some gearhead who works on 20 cars per day, lastly you will have pride and the feeling of accomplishment, making any little mod all the more worthwhile.

The best advice I can give would be to start hanging around car guys and learn from them. Watch them do installs, etc. It will take time, but you will gain quite a bit of knowledge. Also, tackling something like an intake, which is an extremely basic installation, would be a good idea to start off.

Don't be overwhelmed. Never say you can't unless you have tried it yourself and failed. IMO As long as you can remember were things go back as you take them out you should not have a problem. Try taking out your Intake hose and putting it back on. Get hands on and look were everything is. If you can't do that then I stongly recomend you watch other people that know and learn it.
Buy a Haynes Manual and you will learn lots!!
It's all about the willingness to do it.
