New Solara owner...almost.

I am a proud owner of a brand new 04 Cosmic Blue Solara SE Sport, almost. I don't get to pick it up until next Wednesday.

I went up to the dealership to check it out yesterday though, and it is awesome. I'll get some pics as soon as I get the car, though the anticipation is killing me. Anyways, just found this site and figure to be spending quite a bit of time here. I finally have a car I can put some time into modding. I just couldn't see modding my Tundra.

Congrats! I really didn't like that color when I saw the pics, but when I saw it in person I loved it. I hope you love yours as much as I love mine! I hit 1400 miles today.

Edit

I bought the Lunar Mist, but I was amazed at the difference in the Cosmic Blue between the pictures and seeing it in person. Sorry if anyone was misled...and no I'm not an idiot (hey I bought a Solara, didn't I?) and I'm not colorblind - plus I just got new glasses.

Aren't you Lunar Mist Metallic? The original poster got a Cosmic Blue Metallic. On that note, I wasn't too fond of the color when I saw the pics, but when i saw it in person, I loved it

I actually hit about 1250 miles on Sunday, and am loving it. I've had a bunch of people ask me what car it is.

Forgive me...I was merely trying to express that I like that color too. I bought my Lunar Mist Solara before I saw the Cosmic Blue in person. The pictures do not do that color justice!

I wasn't too sure I would like the color either. I had never seen one except for pictures. But when the dealer drove my car up to the front, I instantly fell in love. I owe it to my wife for the choice though, she was the one who picked it out.

Welcome to the forum. I saw your color on the lot and almost bought it. Nice choice. You mentioned you were going to modify your car...how dramatically?

I really haven't decided how extreme I'll go, but not very I'm sure. I want to start out with the lowering springs and some new rims, but after that, who knows. I'll be reading up around here and checking to see what's "hot".
