good lord!

that's an awesome milestone for the 1mz.

a 10 lb pulley. can't wait to see some 1/4 times. better yet dyno runs.

so if the longer gears feel like the shorter gears, how do the shorter gears feel?!??

HAHA... just saw the pic, the pulley looks extra small.


fyi, 12psi is the record on the 1mz s/c. but the dude's engine blew.

Wow! What size pulley did he have to run 12psi? Did he at least beef up the internals before he decided to run that much boost?

As far as my low gears go. The whining sound of the s/c is louder between 15%-30% throttle. We believe the port and polishing helped big time with torque. That may explain the reason why 5th gear at 35% throttle feels like my old 2nd and 3rd.

Rizal, did you change the other pulleys? I thought that Jim mentioned that you would need to change the other pulleys to compensate the size of the new pulley?

i dont know, but his engine went BOOM shortly after.
