Mudguards for 04 Solara

Postby cgs0409 » Tue May 11, 2004 9:41 am

Just got mine installed. Have the same color as you. I got mine from Toyota Part 4U.com. Had all the installation hardware with the kit. Fit and looks are great. The mudguards for the Artic Frost Pearl are around $90...but well worth it especially when your driveway is gravel. Good luck

I installed mine last week, also from toyotaparts4u.com, all prices are the same ($63) except for the Artic Frost (mine), it cost $89 plus shipping.

That's what I like them the most, they keep a low profile, they are small in design, but protects a lot, and that's main reason to buy it, not just for th elook.

Sorry, I don't have photos before the mudguards, that will show you better.

Do they protect the rocker panels? Inside the wheel well?

What I meant about "they protect a lot", was referring to its name, MUDGUARDS, before I installed them, those panels got very dirty, and collected all the Road debris and stains because of that, after I installed them, it's a walk in the park to wash the car now.

Mudguards

Postby cgs0409 » Thu May 13, 2004 7:46 am

I agree...they have a low profile and aren't all that noticeable. My driveway is a 1/4 mile long gravel road. Before the mudguards it was a pain washing the rocker panels...now it's a breeze. I think they look great...by the way nice looking rag top!!!

Any tips I need to know about installing these mudguards? Very easy? Can anyone take a photo of these mudguards to see how they look?

slingshot, just take a look at the links in my Signature.

Everything needed to install then are included with the package, it took me 15 minutes, including the 4 holes drilled to the body of the car to install rear ones.

Just a quick question for those that have installed the mudguards... did you have to remove the tire?
