This is my first post on the forum.. just took me a while to register.. im still a lazy highschool student so i have an excuse

But yeah the main point.. im buying a 2000 solara SE_V6 in a few weeks and i was thinking of putting some good stuff into it.

im going to redo the whole audio..and possibly add some video

first im going to put in the pioneer DEH-P7600MP headunit.. idk why but im in love with it then im gonna go for some pioneer 4-way 6x9s and a set of the way 6.5's i havnt picked out any ampage and im thinking a bass tube for bass becuase im an outdoors guy so i need the trunk for the space.. if you guys have any ideas on better sound/better speakers or comments on manufacturer please speak up so i dont find that i got the wrong stuff. thanks to the place i work i dont need to wory about the price as long as its in my store.. more the quality of speaker.

also like i said im lookn at some quality video for my money i found a website www.carmobilevideo.com that seems to be great on pricing for a few lcds and for the output im thinking of gettng an xbox and wiring it under the passanger seat.. i can use it for games and dvds so thats really all i need. im just looking for any +- comments becuase im fairly new to the car thing.. ive been building computers for 9 years (thats since i was but my heads been so far into the comp ive never learned too much under the hood of the car. any advice please

for your 6.5s, get a set of cdt audio cl-6x
very nice 2-ways, i loved them when i had em. i sold them many times and everyone loved them

I had thought briefly about putting a computer in the car but i thought it would be too much money.. now that you mentioned it i took a second look and it doesnt seem that bad... im surprised at some of the parts on a themicrosystem.. it looks pretty good maybe if i can get some funds together and find a few nice places to mount the parts i can get this done..

is a good motherboard for the job.. a if anyone wants to go in on this one and build one in their car too this could be a fun little project

all i need is some money..

also BB has rockford - pioneer - sony - lightining aud. - kenwood. i cant think of anything else but im still open to some suggestions

also, for the sub, u can always get a small box 10" throw it in a small sealed box and screw a small amp on the back of the box...
nice and small, and it'll sound better than the bass tube...
box can be smaller than 11" x 11" x 7"
and that's with a 10" sub, if u got with an 8" well u get the idea

I think im ready to cry after seeing that comp... that is one of the most amazing things ive ever seen.......... the OBD-2 hard to install?? im gonna be able to wire this fairly easily i think.. the power issue though should i use a second battery and i think the easiest way to get the power to my PSU is just gonna be get a normal car inverter.. i think your whle setup is beautiful though.. i get my car next week....let me know when a jersey meet is and ill be there
