Hey guys. I'm new to the forums, my name is devin. I just got a 99 solara and i'm trying to install my amp and subs. It seems a lot more difficult than my 240 and civic because i cant seem to find a hole in the fire wall to pass the hot wire through. Can someone give me some advice on this install who has gone through this b4. Thanx

there should be an opening if you look hard enough on the driver's side.

or if that fails, try following the hood cable release.

Here's a pic of where ran mine. In case you can't recognize the the location by the pic, it's on the upper passenger side part of the firewall. I peeled the split loom away so you can see exactly where the wire goes in.

I put mine near the hinge of the driver's door...u'll see a rubber grommet.

TRD Mole, I mean no disrespect at all, but most of the talk that goes on in here is people asking advice about audio and video. 99SolaraseV6, I ran mine through the other side of the glove box on the passenger side. Here's the pic:
