Finally Decision time

I finally have a 3 day weekend so I'm getting my system done.

Which subs and components would you recommend?

Components: (2 sets, set in the door and in the 6x9 using a custom panel)
A. Focal Utopia
B. Diamond Hex
C. other?

Sub(s):
A. Eclipse Ti 12
B. Focal Utopia 12 (or was it 11 or 13?)

Amp:
Eclipse D-Class that is just enough to power, no over powering =P for subs
and Eclipse (dunno which) amp for components.

The headunit will have an electronic 3 way x-over (Eclipse CD8454) so I may not need x-overs. I was getting the Eclipse AVN8454 but the fking back order is killing me (6-7 weeks so far) and it's still not in although he thought it would be in last week. Plus it'll cost a lot more than the CD unit =P

Anything else I should get? Or change?

Does the headunit OR amp affect the sound more? I love Eclipse's sound quality and the fact that the headunit I'm getting has a 8 Volt amp out

I'll ask about those subs (although I think I'm just getting 1 tucked into the spare tire hole lol)

im running my whole car with focal utopia and ppi amp. jeff can a couple of other people have heard it before.

I ended up getting:

Eclipse CD 8454 Headunit
Eclipse Component Amp pa5422
Eclipse D Class Amp da7232
Eclipse Titanium 12" (2)

Diamond Hex S600s (2 sets)
and a custom enclosure in the trunk (so it doesn't slide around or take up too much room)

BTW- I meant 8V preamp out, not amp - my bad

How much? $2200 installed =]

It sucks being carless...

he has a deal w/ Enterprise. $25/day for a Ford Focrappy or a Chevy Crapalier... I opted "walking" lol

At work I could have gotten a fully loaded Camry for a rental for $30/day... until he mentioned you have to be 21 to rent ... x_x

So i setup a chain of "taxis" to help me get to work =P

I know this sux @$$!!!! Had to do the same when my car was in the shop for almost 2 weeks

had friends to drive me to work and skool.... and on weekends I was they're biyach =X had to go wherever they drove me lol
