Hi guys
is the air filter that comes with the injen intake a K&N filter? Where can I find a replacement filter for the injen intake?

The filter that comes with your Injen intake is not a K&N its made by Injen. If you are looking for a replacement you can go to Autozone, Pep-Boys, eBay, knfilters.com...etc

You can refer to this thread for some info on better K&N replacement filters

The pipe for the V6 intake is 2.75" so 3.00" is what you need. You don't HAVE to get an Injen filter to replace. I'm not replaceing with Injen. I'm sticking with K&N.

Actually you need a 2.75" one for perfect fit (thats the size filter that the intake comes with). I suppose 3" will fit but you will really have to clamp it down.

^ that’s funny cause I tried fitting a 2.25" hose over a 2.25" intake pipe and it would be a pain to fit cause it's got to stretch to fit over the pipe. These measurements are the Inside Diameter. O well either will fit. I just don't like to stretch the filter base and mess with the velocity of the flow.

That may be true, but im just saying what I know from experience. I have ordered two replacement injen filters in the past, both 2.75" and they fit absolutely perfectly. No stretching or anything required.

I read at K&N's website that the rubber thing should stretch about .5 inches. So I guess if you get the exact same size as the pipe it'll fit perfectly.

oops, one more question...just checked injen's website, they have 2 different 2.75" filters, looking at the red filters. their both pretty much the same except there is a 1" difference on top. anybody know which one we get with the intake? i'd measure it out myself, but my intake isn't with me right now.
