Track Day for the Red Knight!
The favorite expressions were "Holy SH_T!, That's a Toyota!" and of course how nice it looks
. What can I say, we got good taste right?
This was my first run at the 1320 ever. Having it in this car was easy because of the front wheel drive but tough to figure a good way to launch without just smoking the tires. My first run was best with a 14.052 @ 98.68MPH and a 2.100 60' time. I posted my slip on my Car Domain page. My second run, I tried to give it a little more because I noticed I got a little better traction than I do on the street but I spun too much and ran a 14.4. I'm very happy with it and had a LOT of fun! The guys at the track helped me out since I'm new at this. Now I have to look for a helmet as I fully expect to get into the 13s with the water injection from Underdog Racing Development. GO GO GADGET! -JoeB
