just the other day i splurged and got a new headunit. its the Kenwood MP925. finally an interior mod for me!! it's pretty cool, here's some picts:

i got Sirius radio all hooked up too. still getting used to it, but i love it so far.
next step is amp(s)/speakers. i'll let you all know when that happens!

Nice! Are you planning on some big bass or staying conservative?
I'm sticking with the stock head until I can get my hands on a touch screen Navi/DVD unit.

install was super easy, especially since the guy that did it is a toyota tech specializing in electronics!
astro, i'm planning on staying conservative. my next step will probably be a component speaker setup. after that, then i'll add a sub or two. we'll see.

that looks sweet man, I wanna do something like that but I'm afraid that the radio I get wont fit in nicely in that whole where the stock cd-changer is now. nicely done man.

hey - the head unit is definitely looking good

i see that you have the trd shift knob on your car - does it screw on or just twist off?
i'm too embarassed to ask someone to post a DIY on putting on a new shift knob - :lol:

I had one, they do just screw on.
